Here are a few projects I particularly enjoyed focusing on text and symbols.
These assignments are from my Graphic Design 100 class and Digital Concepts / Tech in Art class.
Road Sign Solutions
A series of 12 logos made for my Graphic Design 100 class.
These are all signs for things you typically don't see signs for. This comes with the unique problem of having little to none well-known symbols for most of the signage, and I was tasked with coming up with it myself.
My favorites are the "Checkers Area" sign, since I was able to communicate a checker piece by its ridged faces, and the "Nuclear Power Plant" sign, as it depicts the iconic SONGS from San Diego.
My Mother's favorite is the "Ant Farm" sign, she gave no reasoning for her decision.

The inspiration came from wanting to combine these two images, and as a reference to a similar image where the title "Neon Genesis Evangelion" was combined with the Spongebob logo.
